Job Description:
Meta seeks a highly motivated team player to join our North
American Regulatory Enforcement legal team. The successful
candidate will work with a talented and supportive team to help
lead on high-profile, precedent-setting civil and criminal
investigations, engagements, and initiatives with enforcement
authorities at the Federal, State and local levels on issues
involving our products and services, including data privacy,
consumer protection, securities, civil rights, ads, payments,
content, and platform integrity matters. As part of the role, they
will partner with internal stakeholders from across the company to
mitigate risk. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic,
excellent communication, organizational and relationship-building
skills, and a strong interest in learning about new technologies
and areas of law. This is an outstanding opportunity for a talented

Counsel, Regulatory Enforcement ResponsibilitiesDevelop and
implement strategy for managing and resolving regulatory inquiries
and investigationsConduct detailed internal investigations in
connection with regulatory inquiries and investigations, including
leading fact development and coordinating with teams across the
Legal departmentRepresent the company in connection with regulatory
inquiries and disputes, including supervision of outside
counselCollaborate with product, policy and communications teams to
develop and implement regulatory and policy strategy on important
and breaking issuesMinimum QualificationsJ.D. degree (or foreign
equivalent)Active membership in at least one US state bar and
eligibility to obtain registered in-house counsel status (if
required by the State Bar in the assigned work location)5+ years of
legal experience as a practicing attorney, including at a law firm
and/or in-house or government experienceDemonstrate business
judgment and client counseling skillsEffective communication
skillsExperience developing and executing legal strategyExperience
collaborating and communicating with cross-functional
teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience with regulatory civil
and/or criminal investigations, engagements and risk
mitigationExperience working with internet and technology
companiesExperience advising business clients on product issues or

to $266,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits. Individual
compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience,
