Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Prepared Foods Dishwasher to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen area.Key Responsibilities

• Dishwashing and Sanitation: Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares to ensure a clean and safe environment for our customers and team members.
• Kitchen Cleaning: Maintain the cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Assisting with Kitchen Deliveries: Assist with kitchen deliveries, including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products to ensure efficient and effective inventory management.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing the needs of customers in a timely and effective manner, and modeling suggestive selling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Inventory Management: Maximize sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product to meet customer demands.
• Compliance and Safety: Follow and comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices to ensure a safe working environment.Requirements

  • Ability to Lift 50 Pounds: Be able to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks required for the position.Working ConditionsThis is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work in a team setting, lift 50 pounds, and stand for long periods of time. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a wet and dry environment, exposed to temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit, and be able to use tools and equipment, including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.We offer a competitive hourly rate of $25.40, commensurate with experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan benefits, and paid time off.
