TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Torrance, California, 90503 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Labor and Delivery Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Facility is able to call off once per two-week pay period Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Valid CA license must be in hand Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BCLS, FHM, NRP Must-Have: Expert precepting skills Job Description: - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery unit. - Demonstrate expert precepting skills to mentor and guide new nurses. - Participate in the care for patients and be prepared to float to mother-baby units as needed. - Flexible and open to floating between affiliate hospitals within the state if required. - Adhere to facility policies and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. - Ability to work weekends depending on the contract length. - Open to accommodating block schedule at manager's discretion. - Mandatory training and orientation before starting the role. - Must commit to working three of the five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day). - Complete non-billable modules prior to starting and annually. Note: All travelers are expected to agree to float between facilities as needed.
